Check-ups and general dentistry

Fees for check-ups, scaling and polishing, fillings, extractions, crowns and dentures depend on your condition and the materials used, so they are quoted at your consultation before any treatment starts. CHAS, Merdeka Generation and Pioneer Generation subsidies apply to these treatments; see the CHAS page. The MOH dental fee benchmarks are displayed at the clinic.

Frequently asked questions

Why are some fees listed and others not?
Treatments such as braces, implants, root canal treatment and wisdom tooth surgery have a defined scope, so we publish a single nett fee. Check-ups, fillings, extractions, crowns and dentures depend on the condition of the tooth and the material used, so we quote these after examination, using the MOH dental fee benchmarks as the reference range.
Are the fees inclusive of GST?
Yes. All fees shown are nett and inclusive of GST. For CHAS cardholders, GST is included in the bill before the CHAS subsidy is deducted.
What are MOH dental fee benchmarks?
They are recommended charge ranges published by the Ministry of Health for 18 common dental procedures performed at private dental clinics for routine, typical cases. They are a reference, not a cap. CHAS dental clinics are required to display them next to their price list.
